Refunds policy

At Marriage Proposal in Rio, we dedicate our time, staff, and resources to ensure your surprise is perfect. Because we block our calendar and prepare logistics in advance, we adhere to the following refund and cancellation policy.

1. Booking Fee

Non-Refundability: A 30% booking fee is required to secure your date and time.

Policy: This booking fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.

2. Cancellations and No-Shows

Last-Minute Cancellations: If you cancel your experience within 24 hours of the scheduled date, or fail to attend the session (no-show), no refund will be issued.

Outstanding Balance: In the event of a cancellation within the 24-hour window, the full remaining balance of the contract is considered due and must be paid in full.

Package Changes: No refunds or price reductions are offered for downgrading your selected package once the booking is confirmed and the contract is signed.

3. Weather Conditions (Force Majeure)

Rescheduling: If official weather forecasts indicate rain for your scheduled time, we reserve the right to reschedule the event within a 2-month window or move it to a pre-arranged indoor location.

Client Insistence: If you explicitly choose to proceed with an outdoor setup despite a forecast of rain or unfavorable weather, the experience is considered "performed" regardless of the weather encountered.

No Refunds for Weather: If you choose to proceed in poor weather and the conditions prevent the full use of equipment, decoration, or photography services, no refunds of the booking fee will be issued.

Final Payment: The full remaining balance must still be paid on the day of the event if you chose to proceed despite weather warnings.

4. Service Delivery and Artistic Integrity

Artistic Style: Refunds will not be issued based on dissatisfaction with the artistic style, editing, or creative vision, as these are established in the provider's portfolio reviewed prior to booking.

Natural Influences: We are not liable for, and will not offer refunds for, limitations in photo or video quality caused by rain, wind, or poor lighting if the client chose to proceed with the session under those conditions.

Technical Fees: A BRL 200 fee applies for re-uploading galleries if the client fails to download the photos within the 7-day window provided; this fee is non-refundable.

5. Provider Incapacity

Substitutions: In the case of illness or accident preventing the Service Provider from performing, a qualified substitute will be provided at no extra cost. If a substitute cannot be provided, refund terms will be discussed based on the specific "Force Majeure" event.
