A flower garden at Mirante Dona Marta
Genaro proposed to Alisha at Mirante Dona Marta, in Rio de Janeiro, with Sugarloaf Mountain in the background.
We set up a semicircle garden of white and peach flowers, with a "Casa Comigo?" sign ("Will you marry me?" in Portuguese) in the middle and petals on the ground. Next to it stood an acrylic stand with a bouquet of red roses, glasses, sparkling wine and a photo of the couple.
The proposal
Genaro and Alisha walked down the steps of the viewpoint and over to the flowers. There he got down on one knee with the ring. Alisha said yes, and they hugged with the view of the bay behind them.
Then he opened the sparkling wine and gave her the bouquet. We photographed the ring details and the couple around the viewpoint. At the end, their family joined them for a photo in front of the flowers.
